Exploring Advanced Research: Visit to RHRC, BARI at Lebukhali

Visiting the Regional Horticulture Research Center on November 27, 2024, connected us with Bangladesh's agricultural innovation happening beyond university walls. Watching national scientists work on pest management, soil conservation, and coastal-adapted fruit varieties was incredibly inspiring. They welcomed our questions generously, sharing both successes and ongoing challenges honestly. Seeing research specifically designed for our local conditions reinforced that global knowledge needs local adaptation. The visit sparked countless ideas about integrating this cutting-edge national research into our own future projects. It reminded us we're part of a larger ecosystem of agricultural professionals working toward Bangladesh's food security.
